String Sessions - Jacksonville Jazz Band

String-Sessions performs Jazz, Blues, and Bossa selections from Jobim to Miles. Featuring Soul & Urban Jazz, Latin Jazz and many **'s jazz selections. Feel Good Jazz without the clichés, their performances are superb for dancing or just sitting back and listening.

“We are a local Jazz trio from the First Coast area." For your Wedding, company meetings, parties or public events we may have the solution to making your event more exciting and fun as well as promote interest add cachet, all without detracting from the main focus of your business.

We understand your event is not a venue for our promotion as musicians. We understand that in your business taste and class are required, but not stuffy, old-fashioned, or one size fits all. String-Sessions performs at a comfortable volume that enhances the ambience but allows conversation and pursuing the goal of the event. Unless you require an announcement, you do all the talking, we play for you or your company no self-promotion is ever part of our product. We perform light and smooth jazz with a light sprinkling of standards. Our performances can be tailored to a listening experience (for company dinners, open house, awards etc.) or some dancing as well.

We want your participants to remember the music was tasteful, refreshing in the selections and perhaps even a little exciting at times, but most of all we want them to remember why they were there in the first place- your focus for the event.

String-Sessions trio currently features Dennis Kiszka on guitars and vocals, Kerry Rifkin on brass and Julio De La Manana (Moses Perez) on Latin percussion. When performing as quartet or quintet the addition of , piano or sax is also available.
